A road traffic accident involving school students occurred in Asaka district of Andijan region, resulting in the death of one student. This was reported by the Regional Internal Affairs Directorate's Road Safety Service.
According to reports, the incident took place around 12:30 PM on June 23 of this year on the automobile road passing through the "Dasturxonchi" neighborhood in Asaka district.
According to preliminary data, a Damas vehicle driven by T.Kh., born in 1987, failed to yield to a ZIL-138 type truck approaching from the opposite direction while making a left turn at an intersection, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
As a result of the road traffic accident, passenger N.F., born in 2011, who was in the Damas vehicle, was taken to the hospital with various bodily injuries. However, despite medical assistance provided by doctors, it was not possible to save the student's life.
Reports circulating on social media claim that these students were returning from the "Andijan Regiment" event.
