Today, on June 25, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, Chairman of the Institute for Global Change, Tony Blair.

During the meeting, issues of further expanding practical cooperation with the Institute for Global Change were discussed in order to provide expert support for the reforms being implemented in the country.

Tony Blair gave a high assessment to the consistent and large-scale reform process taking place in New Uzbekistan.

 He also noted that the recently held Tashkent International Investment Forum was an important international platform for strengthening the country's investment attractiveness, developing business ties, and promoting new initiatives.

During the conversation, implementing joint projects in priority sectors of the economy, attracting leading international technology companies and large strategic investors, accelerating digital transformation processes, and introducing advanced innovative solutions were identified as the main areas of cooperation.
