Statistical data show that the average life expectancy of the population in the country has been demonstrating a steady upward trend over the past thirty years.

According to the results of 2025, the average life expectancy of the permanent population in Uzbekistan amounted to 75.4 years. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

It is noted that this indicator has increased by 9 years compared to 1991. In particular, in the first year of independence, the average life expectancy of the country's population was 66.4 years, while by 2025 this figure reached 75.4 years.

According to the data of the National Statistics Committee, the average life expectancy over the years has developed as follows:

— 1991 — 66.4 years;
— 1995 — 69.1 years;
— 2000 — 70.8 years;
— 2005 — 71.8 years;
— 2010 — 73 years;
— 2015 — 73.6 years;
— 2020 — 73.4 years;
— 2024 — 75.1 years;
— 2025 — 75.4 years.

Statistical data show that the average life expectancy of the population in the country has demonstrated a steady upward trend over the past thirty years. Especially in recent years, this indicator has exceeded 75 years.
