In Uzbekistan, starting from 2027, the operations of gas stations and gas filling facilities where employees without the relevant certificate granting the right to work at hazardous production facilities are working will be suspended. This was established in the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In accordance with the decision "On measures to prevent accidents and incidents at gas stations and gas filling facilities, and to eliminate factors endangering human life," from January 1, 2027, measures to suspend operations in accordance with the procedure established by legislation will be applied to facilities where specialists without a certificate or permit granting the right to operate at hazardous production facilities are working.
According to the decision, from the day the identified deficiencies are eliminated, the operation of these facilities will be automatically restored.
Also, by September 1, 2027, for the purpose of monitoring the activities of engineering and technical personnel who have completed special training courses and have a certificate granting the right to work at hazardous production facilities, the «License» information system and the Unified National Labor System will be integrated with each other.
Through this, a mechanism for automatic signaling about the hiring or dismissal of employees will be introduced, and continuous monitoring will be carried out by authorized bodies.
According to the document, the use of the «U-Gas» program is established as a mandatory requirement for automobile gas filling compressor stations. The data in this program will be recognized as official information regarding compliance with legislative requirements in the field of natural gas trade and will serve as a basis for administrative enforcement measures by supervisory authorities.
Also, in order to prevent cases of illegal use of natural gas, in cases where the volume of gas sold through gas distribution equipment exceeds the volume of gas received through the meter, the calculation will be made based on the actual amount of gas sold, taking into account technological losses.
