President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the draft "New Uzbekistan Youth – 2030" strategy, which aims to bring state policy regarding youth to a new level. It was noted that this document, for the first time in the country, defines a unified and long-term approach to youth policy.
The strategy defines priority directions such as ensuring youth employment, developing entrepreneurship, promoting quality education and foreign languages, supporting young families, as well as increasing health and social activity.
Specific goals have been set, such as providing 600,000 young people with jobs annually until 2030, attracting 900,000 young people to volunteer activities, and bringing the foreign language proficiency of 450,000 young people to the B2 level. Furthermore, measures are planned to support young families through mortgage programs and expand educational opportunities in remote areas.
Additionally, within the framework of the strategy, it is planned to expand international cooperation, prepare youth in collaboration with prestigious foreign educational institutions, and ensure their participation in global programs.
