President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a law that envisages increasing state fees in the migration sector several times. TASS reported this.

According to it, the fee for admission to citizenship and renunciation of citizenship was increased from 4,200 rubles to 50,000 rubles. The payment for obtaining a residence permit was set from 6,000 rubles to 30,000 rubles.

Also, fees for temporary residence permits and other migration services were increased several times. The payment for issuing an invitation to enter Russia reached from 960 rubles to 8,000 rubles.

New tariffs were also introduced for visas, multiple border crossing permits, and entry visas for educational purposes.

The law comes into force one month after its official publication.
