Now searching for a date for a tourist visa to France is not necessary.

Starting from July 1, the visa center in Tashkent will switch to a new queue system for short-term tourist visas to France.

Now applicants no longer have to search for an available date themselves to submit documents. After registering and having their application checked, the system automatically assigns an appointment time as soon as a slot becomes available.

The new procedure applies only to visas in the "Tourism" category, which are valid for up to 90 days. For other types of French visas, the previous registration procedure remains in place.

To book an appointment, applicants must register on the TLScontact website and fill in their application details. Once the documents are verified, the application is placed in an electronic queue, and notification is sent via email. When the turn comes, a letter indicating the appointment date and time is sent.

According to TLScontact, after receiving the notification, the applicant must pay the service fee within 24 hours and confirm the scheduled time. Otherwise, the appointment slot may be cancelled.

The visa center emphasizes that the new system is being introduced to prevent the activities of fraudsters and intermediary agencies, as well as to ensure equal and fair access to visa appointments for all citizens.
