A 7-year-old child was found driving a Howo brand truck in the Karmana district of the Navoi region. This was reported by the Press Service of the regional Internal Affairs Department.
A video showing a young child driving a truck spread on social media, sparking widespread discussion. During the investigation into the incident, it was determined that the event occurred in September 2025.
It was found that control of the vehicle was entrusted to the child by his aunt's son. Additionally, measures were taken against the mother who left the minor child unsupervised.
It was noted that administrative protocols were drawn up against the citizen who allowed the child to drive the vehicle and the mother who left him unsupervised, under the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
The Howo brand truck was placed in a impound lot for temporary storage.
We remind you that this is not the first case in the Navoi region involving a minor driving a vehicle. Earlier, it was found that a 10-year-old child was driving a Matiz car instead of his intoxicated father.
Also, in March of this year, a Lacetti driven by a minor fled from traffic patrol officers in Tashkent, drove into the oncoming lane, and collided with another car. In May, a road traffic accident involving a Malibu driven by a school student in Kokand ended in a fatality, while in the Fergana region, a 14-year-old boy drove his father's car and caused a road traffic accident.
