Incidents of violence by a caregiver against children at the "Rayan Kids" private preschool located in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent city have sparked widespread discussion. This was reported in video footage published by Kun.uz here.
The published surveillance camera footage shows the caregiver, under the pretext of calming a crying child, stuffing a piece of cloth into the child's mouth. In another video, the same caregiver is seen sticking her finger into the child's mouth.
Additionally, another video depicts the caregiver pressing a crying child's head firmly against her chest. The children's parents assess these actions as cruel treatment towards the child.
According to the father of one of the affected children, there are spots in the kindergarten not covered by surveillance cameras, and it is said that the caregivers take misbehaving children there to punish them.
It has become known that one of the caregivers who worked at this kindergarten had been held administratively liable two months ago for causing minor physical harm to a child.
