As of April 1, 2026, the number of motor vehicles owned by individuals in Uzbekistan reached 4 million 900 thousand. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
It is noted that over the past year, the number of motor vehicles owned by individuals in the country increased by nearly 345 thousand.
According to statistics, the majority of motor vehicles are passenger cars. Their number amounted to 4 million 552.3 thousand.
Also, 330.3 thousand trucks, 7.5 thousand minibuses, 7.2 thousand special vehicles, and 5.8 thousand buses are registered in the names of individuals in the country.
Thus, the total number of motor vehicles owned by individuals in Uzbekistan is approaching the 5 million mark.
