Due to renovation works being carried out on Mustaqillik Street in Tashkent city, the movement order of a number of bus routes has been temporarily changed.
According to reports, the restriction will be in effect from 22:00 on July 1, 2026 until 06:00 on July 12. During this time, the section of Mustaqillik Street from Mirzo Ulugbek Street to Okkurgan Street will be closed to motor vehicle traffic.
In this regard, buses No. 17, 24, and 60 will operate via Mirzo Ulugbek, Parkent, Kichik Halqa Yoli, Katta Darkhon, Okkurgan, and Mustaqillik streets.
The movement of buses No. 83 and 199 has been temporarily shortened to the "University of World Economy and Diplomacy" stop on Mirzo Ulugbek Street.
Additionally, passengers are recommended to use buses No. 17, 24, or 60 to reach Okkurgan Street and the "Excavator Plant" stops.
Officials have stated that traffic jams may occur on the roads during the renovation work, and therefore bus schedules may be delayed. Additional changes to the routes may also be made as necessary.
