In Uzbekistan, 12.4% of the population, or nearly 4.8 million people, live in apartments in multi-story buildings. This was reported in the preliminary results of the population and agricultural census.
According to the data, the majority of the country's population — 33.3 million people, or 85.3% — live in private individual houses.
Additionally, 927,300 people, or 2.3% of citizens, reside in other types of housing. These include country houses, dormitories, hotels, and other living accommodations.
Thus, according to the preliminary results of the population census, the majority of citizens in Uzbekistan still live in private individual houses.
