A legal assessment has been given to the incident at the customs post following a video that spread on social networks.
According to reports, on April 25, 2026, around 01:00 at night, citizen I.Kh. (born in 1989) agreed with J.S. (born in 1993), who works as a carrier, to bring in four market bags through the Kaplanbek customs post for 500,000 soums.
After the goods were brought in, J.S. demanded an additional 100,000 soums. This led to a dispute between them. During the quarrel, he introduced himself as the "person in charge of the area" and insulted the citizen.
Regarding the incident, the Tashkent District Department of Internal Affairs initiated documents against J.S. under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. By court decision, he was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.
