In the maternity complex No. 2 located in the city of Andijan, five quintuplets were born at the same time. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
According to the report, Nargiza Bekjonova, a resident of the Qayraghochtosh mahalla in the city of Andijan, was admitted to the maternity hospital with a diagnosis of multiple pregnancy. Since preterm labor was observed, a cesarean section was performed.
As a result of the successful surgery, 5 babies were born. Three of them are girls, two are boys. The babies' weight ranged from 1205 grams to 1605 grams.
The mother and babies were transferred to the Andijan regional branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Maternal and Child Health to provide specialized medical care.
