According to blogger Otabek Bakirov, after a previous application to initiate a criminal case was rejected, the minister again appealed to the capital's Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department on December 26, 2024, regarding his published posts.
Based on this appeal, the initiation of a case was rejected on January 23, 2026, but on March 25, the Tashkent City Prosecutor's Office overturned this decision and sent the materials to the Yashnobod District Internal Affairs Department for reconsideration.
The complaint is related to posts about queues at methane gas stations, gas availability, data in the Auto24 app, and interruptions in electricity and gas supply in Tashkent district.
Bakirov, however, criticized that statements from almost a year and a half ago are being used as grounds again.
