The number of pensioners in Uzbekistan has exceeded 4.4 million. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
According to the report, as of the end of 2025, the total number of pensioners in the country amounted to 4 million 433 thousand. This is 186.6 thousand, or 4.4 percent, more than in 2024.
Over the past five years, this indicator has shown a consistent growth trend. In particular, in 2021, 3 million 713.1 thousand pensioners were registered in the republic, while in 2022 their number reached 3 million 896.9 thousand.
In 2023, the number of pensioners amounted to 4 million 66.2 thousand. In 2024, this figure reached 4 million 246.4 thousand, and in 2025, 4 million 433 thousand.
Thus, over the course of one year, the number of pensioners increased by nearly 187 thousand.
