In the Navoi region, three citizens who attempted to illegally mine gold became trapped under soil in a dug pit. All of them were rescued alive through the efforts of rescuers and local residents. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.

According to the report, the incident occurred today, July 7, at 04:22 in the mountainous area of Quvray village, belonging to the "Angidon" mahalla in Khatirchi district.

According to it, four citizens went to the mining area with the aim of illegally extracting gold. Three of them fell into an illegally dug pit and were trapped under soil. The fourth person, who remained outside, immediately notified nearby people and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, local residents and that citizen had pulled one of those trapped in the pit out.

Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations quickly arrived at the scene and rescued the other two citizens who were trapped under the soil.

The rescued citizens were provided with first aid and subsequently sent to the relevant medical facility.
