A citizen of India who studied at the Bukhara State Medical University has died. According to preliminary information, a conflict with a classmate caused his death. This was reported to Darakchi.uz by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

It is noted that the 22-year-old Indian citizen, Savariya, suffered severe injuries to the head from a blow with a laptop during an argument with a classmate. He died despite the medical assistance provided.

The 23-year-old Indian citizen, Sadarul Anam, suspected in the incident, was apprehended by law enforcement officers on the same day the event occurred.

According to the secretary of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, Hayot Shamsiddinov, investigative actions are currently being carried out by the Investigation Department of the Bukhara City Internal Affairs Directorate regarding this case.

According to Indian media, the victim's family was informed about the tragedy four days ago. The girl's body has been brought to Delhi Airport and is expected to be transported to her hometown of Haripad.

It is reported that the victim's father, who works in Kuwait, was unable to reach Uzbekistan due to visa-related issues. Later, the body was taken to India by the victim's uncle.
