The meeting discussed plans aimed at accelerating economic growth, improving public services, and sharply increasing IT exports.
According to these plans, within the framework of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, it is projected to bring IT services exports to $5 billion, employ 300,000 young people in the sector, and raise the country to the top 30 in the UN E-Government Index. About 100 practical projects and over 200 experimental initiatives in artificial intelligence have been launched, and the construction of new GPU clusters and R&D centers is envisaged.
Additionally, additional instructions were given on the widespread implementation of AI solutions in healthcare, agriculture, transport, and industry, updating digital infrastructure in schools, and supporting local startups.
