The President has set new tasks in the field of artificial intelligence and digitalization.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on the ongoing reforms in the field of artificial intelligence and digitalization, as well as priority tasks for the coming years.

The meeting discussed plans aimed at accelerating economic growth, improving public services, and sharply increasing IT exports.

According to these plans, within the framework of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, it is projected to bring IT services exports to $5 billion, employ 300,000 young people in the sector, and raise the country to the top 30 in the UN E-Government Index. About 100 practical projects and over 200 experimental initiatives in artificial intelligence have been launched, and the construction of new GPU clusters and R&D centers is envisaged.

Additionally, additional instructions were given on the widespread implementation of AI solutions in healthcare, agriculture, transport, and industry, updating digital infrastructure in schools, and supporting local startups.
