In Kashkadarya, a man was caught with over 45 kilograms of hashish.

It has been reported that a man born in 1964, previously convicted under several articles, was apprehended while loading 45 kilograms and 768 grams of hashish in bags into his car.

He is said to have been engaged since 2008 in the importation and distribution of narcotic drugs into Uzbekistan through neighboring countries as part of a transnational criminal organization.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 273, Part 5 of the Criminal Code in connection with the incident.
