A person who stole a Spark model car to place bets on online gambling games in Tashkent city has been apprehended. This was reported by the capital's Main Internal Affairs Department.
According to reports, during rapid search operations, the stolen Spark car from the Yunusabad district was found in the Bektemir district. Initial information indicates that the suspect drove the vehicle from a car wash without the owner's permission.
The detained person stated that he took the car around 9:30 AM from a car wash located in block 19 of the Yunusabad district.
"I play online gambling. I stole the car because I thought I would win by placing bets on these games. I planned to take it apart and sell the spare parts. I used to work as a taxi driver, and now I work at a car wash," said the suspect.
Currently, pre-investigation checks and procedural actions are being carried out in accordance with the procedure established by law regarding this incident.
