According to the document, the late John and Phyllis Emily Le Breton, who provided shelter at their home and saved the life of Uzbek soldier Bакиjon Akramov after he escaped from a fascist concentration camp on the island of Jersey, were awarded the "Dustlik" (Friendship) Order of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Their feat was recognized as a worthy contribution to promoting the ideas of peace, friendship, and brotherhood among peoples.
