A court verdict has been issued against a man who sexually harassed a woman in an underground passage in Tashkent and chased her while he was without pants. Darakchi.uz reviewed the court documents.
According to court documents, on July 1 of this year, at around 11:00 a.m., a 31-year-old man blocked the path of a woman in an underground passage located in front of house 53 on Shota Rustaveli Street in the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent. He then sexually harassed the victim and chased her with his pants removed.
In court, the offender fully admitted his guilt. He expressed remorse for his actions, stated that he would not repeat such behavior in the future, and asked the court for leniency.
In accordance with the court decision, he was found guilty of an offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 41¹ of the Code of Administrative Responsibility — sexual harassment.
Based on this article, he was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention.
