In Tashkent, a National Guard officer who tried to save a woman also died in the canal.

A 21-year-old National Guard serviceman who tried to rescue a woman who had fallen into a canal in Tashkent also drowned. 

According to reports, the tragedy occurred near the "Memory Square" memorial complex. While performing their duties, National Guard servicemen noticed a strong water current sweeping a woman along the canal.

One of the servicemen then jumped into the water to rescue the woman. However, due to the strong current, it was impossible to bring her to shore. As a result, both the woman and the serviceman who tried to save her drowned.

During the search and rescue operations, the body of the serviceman was found.

According to the "Millar" program, the deceased serviceman was 21 years old. His wedding had been planned to take place in the coming days.

Currently, the relevant authorities are investigating all the details of this tragedy.
