The passing scores for special exams for transferring from foreign and non-state higher education institutions to state higher education institutions of Uzbekistan for the 2026/2027 academic year have been approved.
With the relevant order of the Minister, the minimum passing scores by fields of study have been approved. According to this, the highest requirement is set for the law field, where applicants must score at least 165 points to transfer to this field.
For the remaining fields of study, the passing scores are set as follows:
Political science — 140 points;
International relations — 140 points;
World economy and international economic relations — 140 points;
Healthcare — 132 points;
Arts, social sciences, journalism, business and management — 105 points;
Transport services — 104 points;
Education, humanities, languages, environment, mathematics and statistics, information and communication technologies, and social security — 94 points;
Biological sciences, physics and service — 80 points;
Engineering, manufacturing and architecture — 75 points;
Agriculture, forestry and fisheries, and labor protection — 70 points;
Veterinary medicine — 60 points.
According to the ministry, passing scores for some fields of study have been increased compared to the previous academic year. In particular, the minimum requirement for the arts field was raised from 93 points to 105 points, and for the healthcare field from 129 points to 132 points.
At the same time, the minimum passing score for the law field remained unchanged, set at 165 points.
The ministry also reminded once again that transferring from higher education institutions in foreign countries to non-corresponding or non-related bachelor’s fields of study at state higher education institutions of Uzbekistan is not permitted.
