A ceremony for the official welcome of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is on an official visit to this country, was held at the Independence Palace in the city of Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
During the ceremony, the state flags of Uzbekistan and Belarus were raised on the square in front of the palace, and the guard of honor lined up. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was officially welcomed by the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
After that, the national anthems of the two countries were played. The heads of state walked past the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegations.
After the official photo ceremony, high-level negotiations began with the participation of the Presidents.
Earlier, it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev had arrived in the Republic of Belarus on an official visit, and issues of cooperation between the two countries in political, trade-economic, and other priority areas were planned to be discussed within the framework of the visit.
