In Kashkadarya region, cases of illegal use of more than 4 billion soums worth of electricity by illegally connecting water pumps to the power grid have been identified. This was reported by the headquarters under the General Prosecutor's Office.
According to the report, the inspection was conducted in Kasbi district of Kashkadarya region. It was found that water pumps belonging to the farm "U. M." were arbitrarily connected to the power grid.
According to preliminary calculations, as a result of this violation, 1 billion 841 million soums worth of electricity was illegally used.
Also, in Koson district, a similar violation was uncovered in water pumps belonging to citizen M. Sh.
According to officials, the preliminary amount of damage caused to state interests in this case amounted to 2 billion 428 million soums.
