The Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan has adopted a decision on the formation of a corps of judges specialized in hearing labor disputes in civil courts. This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Court.
According to the decision, starting from August 1, 2026, judges specialized in hearing labor disputes will operate within the existing staff units of the civil courts.
Under the new procedure, 4 specialized judges will operate within the Judicial Panel for Civil Cases of the Supreme Court, and 3 specialized judges each will operate within the Judicial Panels for Civil Cases of the court of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional courts, and the Tashkent city court.
Furthermore, 2 judges specializing in labor disputes will work in the inter-district courts of Nukus, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Karshi, Karmana, Namangan, Termez, Fergana, Urgench, and Akhangaran; 2 judges in the Samarkand city court; 1 judge each in the inter-district courts of Kattakurgan, Urtachirchik, and Yangiyul; and also 2 judges each in the inter-district courts of Mirzo Ulugbek, Mirobod, Shaykhontohur, Uchtepa, and Yakkasaray districts of Tashkent city.
Based on the decision, applications regarding labor disputes received by courts after August 1, 2026, will be distributed specifically among these specialized judges.
Additionally, labor dispute cases received by courts, including those accepted for proceedings, before July 31, 2026, will be reviewed and concluded according to the previous procedure.
