A 6-year-old child died as a result of a traffic accident in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city. This was reported by "Millar".
According to reports, the incident occurred on July 1. Surveillance camera footage shows the child running out from behind a stationary Cobalt car and being run over by the wheels of a moving Tracker car.
As a result of the incident, the child died at the scene due to severe injuries.
Local residents said that due to the lack of a special children's playground in the area, children are often forced to play on the street. Additionally, witnesses and relatives of the deceased noted that the driver did not observe safety precautions at the time of the incident.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 266, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety or vehicle operation rules). Investigative actions are currently underway.
