Today, on July 12, a fire occurred at the "Uzbekistan" hotel located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city.
According to the Emergency Situations Department reported, a notification was received at 14:45 about a fire breaking out on the 10th floor of the hotel located on Mustaqillik Avenue, Mirzo Ulugbek district.
Upon receiving the report, firefighting and rescue equipment and personnel promptly headed to the scene. They arrived at the location at 14:49 and began fire suppression operations. As a result, the fire was fully extinguished by 14:54.
It is noted that due to the timely activation of the fire safety systems installed in the building, the spread of the flames was prevented, and the fire was quickly brought under control.
During the investigation, it was determined that the fire occurred in a staff room on the 10th floor of the hotel, and that room was damaged.
No casualties among citizens were reported as a result of the incident. The causes of the fire and the amount of damage caused are currently being investigated.
