According to the Regional Traffic Safety Department, the incident occurred on April 27 at around 09:05 on Imam Bukhari Street in the Vobkent district.
It is noted that traffic police officer Y. Mavlonov, while driving his personal Cobalt car, struck a girl born in 2009 — S.N., who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.
As a result, the girl sustained minor injuries.
It is reported that the traffic police officer took the victim to the hospital to provide first aid.
It was also stated that the officer was performing his official duties at the time of the incident, was in a sober state, and had all necessary documents to drive the vehicle.
Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out by the Vobkent district prosecutor's office regarding this incident.
