A citizen of Uzbekistan who was involved in a traffic accident in Turkey and left in serious condition has been returned to the homeland. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
It was reported that a citizen of Uzbekistan named N.A. went to Turkey for the purpose of carrying out labor activities. He, together with the family he was working for, was involved in a traffic accident and sustained severe injuries in several parts of his body.
The citizen underwent surgery by Turkish doctors and was provided with necessary medical care. However, after the treatment was completed, he was left without housing, financial resources, and in a difficult social situation.
After that, in cooperation with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul and the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, his safe return to Uzbekistan was ensured.
It is noted that the hospital issued a "Fit to Fly" medical conclusion that the citizen could fly by plane. Nevertheless, since his health required special attention and caution, the repatriation process was organized in a special manner.
Let us recall that earlier, six citizens of Uzbekistan who found themselves in a difficult financial and social situation in the Republic of Bulgaria were also returned to the homeland.
