Three citizens were rescued as a result of a fire that occurred in a multi-story building located in Kogon city, Bukhara region. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to reports, today, July 15, at 03:38, the unified dispatch service 112 received a notification about a fire breaking out in one of the apartments of a multi-story building on Turon Street in Kogon city.
Following this, rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene. The fire was contained at 03:46 and fully extinguished at 04:40.
Rescuers safely evacuated three citizens from the apartment where the fire had started. Additionally, due to the risk of the fire spreading to neighboring apartments, seven other citizens were evacuated to a safe area.
According to preliminary data, the fire damaged the floor, walls, and some household items in approximately 50 square meters of the apartment. Thanks to the swift actions of the rescuers, an area of about 650 square meters and neighboring apartments were saved from the fire.
