In Tashkent, nearly 3.2 kilograms of narcotic drugs were confiscated.

According to the expert opinion, the confiscated substances have been determined to be 1.2 kilograms of heroin and 100 grams of mephedrone.

During operational activities carried out in the city of Tashkent, nearly 3.2 kilograms of narcotic substances were seized from illegal circulation. This was reported by the State Security Service.

According to information, as part of the comprehensive operational-preventive measures "Safe and Healthy Country," several operations were conducted by employees of the Tashkent City Department of the State Security Service and the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital.

In the first incident, a car of the "Gentra" model moving in the Bektemir district was stopped and inspected. Inside were two citizens, residents of the Yashnobod district, born in 1998. During the inspection of the car, a light yellow powdery substance packaged in several zip packets was discovered.

Afterwards, the operational activity continued, and at a previously concealed hiding place of the suspects, as well as in a rented apartment, powdery substances, electronic scales, and equipment used for packaging narcotic drugs were found.

According to the expert examination, the seized substances were identified as 1.2 kilograms of heroin and 100 grams of mephedrone.

It is noted that these two individuals had also been previously convicted for crimes related to narcotic substances.

In another operational activity, from the apartment of a previously convicted citizen, a resident of the Shaykhontohur district, born in 1982, 47 grams of hashish and 34 grams of opium were seized.

During the investigation, two citizens, residents of the Olmazor district, born in 1980 and 1985, suspected of supplying him with narcotic substances, were also detained. During the inspection of their cars and residences, a total of 1.8 kilograms of hashish and 12 grams of opium were found and documented as material evidence.

Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and investigative actions are currently underway.
