A section of Mustaqillik Shoh Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city will be closed to traffic for 16 days due to the next stage of construction and repair work. This was reported by the Tashkent City Traffic Management Center.
According to the report, the repair work previously carried out on the section of Mustaqillik Shoh Street from the intersection with Mirzo Ulugbek Street to Okkurgan Street has been completed, and this section will be opened to all types of vehicles starting from 02:00 on July 16.
At the same time, due to the start of reconstruction work on the opposite direction of the street, the section of Mustaqillik Shoh Street from the intersection with Parkent Street to the intersection with Mirzo Ulugbek Street will be temporarily closed to traffic from 01:00 on July 16 until 22:00 on July 31.
It was noted that these restrictions are being introduced for the purpose of complete reconstruction of the street, improving traffic safety, and creating a modern road infrastructure for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians.
In this regard, drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and use detour roads.
