The head of state emphasized that labor should be assessed with appropriate incentives and announced that competitions will be held at the end of the year in the categories of "Most Tidy Household", "Most Prosperous Yard", "Most Well-kept Street", and "Most Exemplary Neighborhood".
It was noted that owners of apartments in multi-story buildings who win the competition will be given property tax benefits, while owners of houses and plots will be given land tax benefits.
Furthermore, members of the "neighborhood seven" who have conducted effective activities and created advanced experiences in the neighborhood will also be appropriately rewarded. It was noted that their working methods should be promoted as an example for other regions, and advanced experiences in neighborhoods should be widely covered in the media.
The meeting also paid special attention to the improvement of territories. In particular, it was announced that work has begun to organize the areas around railway lines. It was noted that along the Tashkent–Khiva railway route, 285 neighborhoods are located, and this route passes through the territories of 45 districts.
In this regard, the governors of the remaining regions were also tasked with conducting a complete inventory of the areas around the main highways and railways passing through their territories, as well as the residential and commercial facilities adjacent to them, within one week.
The President gave instructions to develop a comprehensive program and achieve concrete practical results within two weeks to bring these areas to an exemplary appearance.
