A road patrol inspector died as a result of a traffic accident in the city of Tashkent. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to reports, the incident occurred yesterday, on July 16, around 18:30, on Dorman Yoli Street in the capital. While three road patrol inspectors were moving on service motorcycles, an accident occurred at an intersection.
According to preliminary data, an Onix passenger car entering the intersection from Gazalkent Street collided with the patrol motorcycle. As a result, the road patrol inspector driving the motorcycle died at the scene.
Medical assistance is being provided to those injured in the incident.
Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that messages circulating on social media claiming that this traffic accident allegedly occurred during a cortege escort do not correspond to reality.
Currently, an investigation is being conducted in accordance with the established procedure regarding this incident.
