A citizen of Uzbekistan, F.V., who was placed on an international wanted list by Interpol, has been returned from Poland to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the "Dunya" news agency.
According to the information, the process of returning the citizen to the country was carried out through organizational and diplomatic measures undertaken by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, as well as in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of Poland.
The operation was coordinated by the Interpol National Central Bureau under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that F.V., born in 1988 in the Samarkand region, was accused of committing a crime under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and was placed on an international wanted list based on an Interpol "Red Notice."
He was identified in Poland, detained in accordance with the relevant procedures, and subsequently handed over to the Uzbek side. F.V. was escorted by Interpol officers from Warsaw to Tashkent.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, this case is part of ongoing efforts to identify individuals wanted abroad and return them to the country, as well as to strengthen international cooperation between law enforcement agencies.
