The admission parameters for state higher education institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year have been approved. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation announced this.
In the new academic year, 155,852 applicants will be admitted to the full-time undergraduate programs of state higher education institutions.
The majority of admission slots are allocated for education in the Uzbek language, totaling 130,843 places. Additionally, 19,341 places are designated in Russian, 4,888 in Karakalpak, 335 in Kazakh, 315 in Tajik, 75 in Kyrgyz, and 55 in Turkmen.
The State Commission has also approved additional grant quotas for certain categories of citizens. Specifically, an additional 2% state grant for persons with disabilities, a 1% grant for orphans and children deprived of parental care, 5% and 2% grants for children of internal affairs and customs officers, as well as a separate 10% grant for children of families included in the "Social Register".
Additionally, separate quotas have been established for children of military personnel and citizens admitted based on recommendations.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, 2,500 separate fee-contract places will be allocated for women with more than five years of work experience. An additional 4,000 state grants for the full-time form of education will also be provided for women.
It is planned to admit 28,942 applicants to the evening form of undergraduate education and 20,810 applicants to the distance learning form.
Furthermore, a total of 22,050 places have been allocated for master's programs. Of these, 10,340 are state grant places and 11,710 are fee-contract places.
The admission quotas for the 2026/2027 academic year have been approved for bachelor's, master's, and various forms of education.
