By a government resolution, the regulation "On the procedure for organizing and carrying out the activities of a bond warehouse" was approved.
According to the document, the regulation defines the establishment of bond warehouses, the requirements for them, as well as the procedure for customs control and clearance when placing goods in a bond warehouse.
It is established that permission to conduct the activities of a bond warehouse is granted on the basis of the licensing procedure for free warehouse activities and upon inclusion in the register of bond warehouses.
In bond warehouses, it is possible to store foreign goods sold to individuals through special e-commerce platforms, ensure the integrity of goods, and carry out operations such as simple assembly.
According to the regulation, requirements for establishing a bond warehouse include the presence of a licensed free warehouse in the area where the warehouse is located, a cooperation agreement with a special e-commerce platform, and possession of a free warehouse with a total area of at least 15,000 square meters.
The Customs Committee reviews the application and attached documents within 10 business days. After that, an official response is sent to the applicant regarding inclusion in the register of bond warehouses or refusal.
