Yesterday, on July 18, the well-known internet brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in the United States on charges related to rape and human trafficking. This was reported by the Crown Prosecution Service of Great Britain reported.
According to information, Andrew Tate faces 32 new charges. These include rape, organizing or assisting human trafficking for sexual exploitation, causing bodily harm, and charges related to illegal content.
Tristan Tate, on the other hand, has been charged with several counts related to violence, rape, and human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The prosecution stated that these incidents are alleged to have occurred between 2010 and 2017. Previously, the Tate brothers had already been charged with a series of other criminal offenses.
According to media reports, they were apprehended by the US Marshals Service near a sports complex in Miami. Andrew Tate had been scheduled to hold a hand-to-hand fighting competition there.
Andrew Tate is known as a four-time world champion in kickboxing. After ending his sports career, he became famous for his online activities. His brother Tristan Tate is also a European champion in kickboxing.
The Tate brothers are widely known for their controversial statements on social media and harsh views towards women. In 2024, they were also charged in Romania as part of a criminal case.
