Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a statement regarding the breakdown of the agreement between Iran and the United States. He emphasized that Washington's withdrawal from the agreement casts doubt on the reliability and significance of the US president's signature. He wrote about this on his page on the X social network.
In his statement, Khamenei criticized the US, noting that the country's attitude toward international agreements has constantly been called into question. He assessed Washington's actions as "breaking agreements."
He stressed that the US's repeated withdrawal from agreements casts doubt on the "value and reliability" of the American president's signature. Khamenei said that Washington has once again shown its "true face" and criticized US actions.
Iran's Supreme Leader also emphasized the importance of the country's people maintaining trust in state institutions, protecting national interests, and strengthening unity in society.
Khamenei stated that Iran and the "Axis of Resistance" have learned "unforgettable lessons" in the process of confrontation with the US. According to him, if tensions escalate again, Tehran and its allies are ready to respond.
