The ceremonial award ceremony of the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad was held in Tashkent. All four students who defended the honor of Uzbekistan took places among the winners. This was reported by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education here.

According to the final results, Rayhona Tuymurodova won a gold medal at the Olympiad. Jasur Mustafoev, Azizmuhammad Hafizov, and Mirjalol Hojidonov won silver medals.

For the first time in history, Uzbekistan hosted the prestigious International Chemistry Olympiad. Talented youth from more than 90 countries participated in the competition, testing their knowledge in theoretical and laboratory-practical stages.

The International Chemistry Olympiad is one of the most prestigious science competitions in the world, where participants compete in solving complex chemical problems.

According to the legislation of Uzbekistan, participants who win medals at international science olympiads are awarded large cash prizes. In particular, based on these results, members of the Uzbekistan national team will receive a total of 2 billion 884 million soums, and their trainers will receive 494.4 million soums.

Additionally, the qualification category of the teachers who trained the winners will be raised by one level.
