On July 20 at 13:13, the Tashkent City Fire Safety Department received a report that a fire was occurring in one of the apartments on the 8th floor of a 16-story building on Navruz Street in the Yangihayot district.
Rescue equipment arrived at the scene immediately. During the inspection, it was determined that a gas-air mixture flash had occurred in the kitchen area of the apartment. No fire was recorded in this apartment.
As a result of the flash, two citizens living in the apartment sustained minor injuries. Currently, their condition is satisfactory, and they are under medical supervision.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred due to the use of faulty gas appliances.
The Tashkent City Fire Safety Department urged citizens not to use faulty gas appliances and to strictly adhere to fire safety rules.
