A citizen from Namangan who was serving a sentence in Poland was conditionally released early and returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the "Dunya" news agency.

According to reports, as a result of negotiations conducted by diplomats of the Uzbek Embassy in Poland in cooperation with the «Artur Grabowski» law firm and the Polish Border Service, I.M. was conditionally released early.

Earlier, he was convicted under the relevant article of the country's Criminal Code for committing a road traffic accident that resulted in death in Poland and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment.

Through measures taken by the embassy and with the assistance of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex), an air ticket was purchased for the citizen on the Warsaw–Tashkent route.
