At the end of the first quarter, 13 district governors who failed to fulfill the industrial plan and 15 district governors who reduced export volumes were punished. Most governors drew conclusions from this and fulfilled the six-month forecast indicators.
However, it was noted that the rate of industrial growth decreased in some districts and cities.
In the Yangiobod district, industrial growth was only 1.8 percent instead of the forecast 5.7 percent. The growth rate also decreased in the cities of Gʻozgʻon, Muzrabot, Qiziriq, and Oltiariq districts.
It was also pointed out that in the export direction, there was no change in a number of districts and cities. In particular, work was criticized for slowing down in Kasbi, Denov, Tashkent district, Jizzakh city, Paxtaobod, Navoiy city, Jomboy, Toyloq, Bandixon, Mirzachoʻl, Yozyovon, and Bektemir.
The Prime Minister was tasked with reviewing the suitability of these 17 governors for their positions today.
It was also decided that if there is no change by the end of nine months, strict measures will be taken against the deputy governors of the regions.
