The head of state noted that Uzbekistan's economy has grown threefold in recent years. The goal is to increase the country's economy to $240 billion by 2030.
Today, 4,000 kilometers of transit routes of international importance pass through Uzbekistan's territory. Currently, 30% of international roads are operating at full capacity, while another 25% are operating with overload.
Once the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan and Trans-Afghan railways are operational, Uzbekistan will become a key link in the shortest overland corridor from the Pacific Ocean to Europe. In addition, access to the Indian Ocean and the markets of South Asia, home to nearly 2 billion people, will become available through Pakistan's ports.
According to calculations, if Uzbekistan handles an additional 15–20 million tons of international transit cargo per year, it will generate $400–600 million in revenue. Additionally, $3 billion in investment will be attracted for the construction of logistics centers and terminals, creating at least 50,000 stable jobs.
