In the Yangikurgan district of Namangan region, 18 "Alazani-6" anti-hail rockets were used to protect agricultural crops from hail. This was reported by Uzhydromet.
According to the report, on July 23, convective hail clouds moved from the territory of Kyrgyzstan towards the Yangikurgan district. As a result, heavy hail fell in the area.
After that, specialists from the Yangikurgan hydrometeorological complex carried out work to influence the hail clouds in order to prevent further hail and protect agricultural crops from its negative effects.
A total of 18 "Alazani-6" anti-hail rockets were used. Six of them were launched from technological command post No. 1 in the directions of Iskovot, Yangihayat, and Khadikent, and another six from post No. 3 in the directions of Bogiston and Urtayalongoch.
