Today, July 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev turned 69.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev was born on July 24, 1957, in the Zomin district of Jizzakh region, into a family of doctors.
He was elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the presidential election held on December 4, 2016, with 88.61 percent of the vote. On December 14, 2016, he assumed his duties as the head of state.
