In the Asaka district of Andijan region, a father who let his 11-year-old son drive a Spark car was held administratively liable.
According to the regional Internal Affairs Department, the incident was discovered on July 13 of this year by traffic police officers conducting service in the Yangiqo‘rg‘on neighborhood area.
During the inspection, it was found that an 11-year-old boy was at the steering wheel of the car. In the vehicle, his younger brother was sitting in the front passenger seat, and the father was sitting in the back seat.
The father confirmed that his son Yahyobek had driven the car and stated that this situation would not be repeated.
In connection with the incident, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the father who handed over control of the vehicle to a person who did not have the right to drive.
Also, during the raids, individuals driving without a driver's license and those who got behind the wheel while intoxicated were identified. In some cases, vehicles were placed in impound lots.
According to reports, since the start of the raids, more than 4,000 cars have been taken to impound lots due to violations. Among them, cases of persons deprived of their driving rights getting behind the wheel, driving without a license, unauthorized window tinting, and driving while intoxicated were also recorded.
