A 50-year-old woman in a state of intoxication blocked the movement of a bus in Tashkent city. She lay down on the roadway. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.
According to the information, the incident occurred on July 25 at approximately 08:00 on Beshariq Street in Yashnobod district. A citizen named E.A., born in 1976, lay down in the middle of the road while intoxicated.
In the circulated videos, the woman is seen lying on the road, while the bus driver stopped for a while and then moved backward to go around her.
According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs, during a conversation with the citizen, it was determined that she was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. After that, she was taken by internal affairs and medical personnel to the detoxification center at the 4th City Clinical Hospital.
Currently, pre-investigation checks are being carried out by the Investigation Department of the Yashnobod District Internal Affairs Directorate regarding the situation. It is stated that a decision will be made in accordance with the procedure established by law upon completion of the investigation.
